I once purchased and downloaded a Helix guitar patch, only to feel like I had wasted my money. The patch was supposed to give me a country guitar rig, and while it had a good base sound to it, the patch felt very incomplete. I decided to take a look inside of what made the patch “tick”, and then using that structure, began to tweak it... making changes, adding effects, creating a map, creating snapshots. The result is a whole new patch that I’ve titled “NASHVEGAS”. If you’re looking to play some country guitar tones with an edge, I see this patch as a great option.
NASHVEGAS by Rumblin Man is a stereo electric guitar patch that is designed to get you classic Country guitar tones with a unique edge. This patch runs your guitar through a Matchless DC30 Channel 1 amp sim into a 2x12 DC30 cab. For best results, use a telecaster or other single-coil guitar.
In stomp mode, use a tube screamer and amp drive with chorus, tremolo, slap delay and 1/4 delay. Toggle between two different reverbs and apply a 4db boost when you need to be louder. There are also 8 snapshots.
