Rumblin Man’s Helix LT patch, “BARNSTORMER”, was originally crafted as an homage to the underground electric guitar tones of Nashville, with a unique approach to country guitar tones. While it does accomplish this task, we also noticed one day while playing a strat through this patch that it absolutely nails blues guitar tones. It’s got a nice warmth that doesn’t compromise too much treble, and we find that it’s a unique but versatile patch for the studio and the stage.
BARNSTORMER by Rumblin Man is a stereo electric guitar patch that is designed to get you classic Country guitar tones with a unique edge. This patch runs your guitar through a Silvertone 1484 amp sim into not one, but two panned 2x12 Fender Twin C12N cabs. For best results, use a telecaster or other single-coil guitar.
In stomp mode, apply two different classic overdrive / distortion pedals, a 4db boost, a phaser, a vibe for studio tones, a slapback delay, a simple delay, and toggle between two separate reverbs. Eight snapshots give you a diverse array of tones within the patch.
This patch is ideal for Line 6 Helix LT, but also works great with Helix Floor.
